Inspiration
Newdust was my main form of inspiration and I used it as a guide through the entire Mash-up process. I connected mainly with the layout, the basic styling, the content and the entire design of the website.
The Title, I wanted to upload a picture of the title as it can be a little hard to see on some web browsers, also to show some of the design elements.

The Background that was designed for the Indie Mash-up, I decided to create a busy background full of Indie music album covers. The background is busy, therefore the main design on the Mash-up was kept simple.
Stumble Mashup Concept
The original mash-up idea for Stumbleinto.info was to create a website for unsigned musicians and artists, although that idea was scrapped and Indie was born.
Indie is your complete guide to living Indie: Indie music, Indie fashion and becoming indie. There are numerous Indie websites out on the giant www, although I couldn’t find one that united all the main Indie ideas. The numerous Indie websites out there made me realize that there is a market for a Mash-up like this.
Indie also became a more defined Idea, and the data sources were more relevant to the Mash-up Idea. Indie also gave me for freedom with design, as I would make it as unique and indie as I wanted.
So if the design, particularly the background doesn’t make your designy senses tingle, that’s ok.. it’s Indie.
I like the search function available in the gig section of the rave magazine website, users can focus on what they are intending to find.
